Over 500 patients showed up at our 6th Medical Outreach, held for the 1st time at our own facility, JUHRI's first site, Afua on 2nd Sept 2017. 307 patients received comprehensive care including free ultrasound scans, eye care, lab tests, drugs, mosquito nets, etc. The 17 members of the clinical team (including Consultants in Radiology, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Pulmonary Medicine and Specialist Optometrist), led by Dr Anthonia Ikpeme, were overwhelmed! We spent about N600,000 (about $1700.00) on this 6th outreach. A very big thank you to all our supporters and volunteers including our elite medical team, our donors worldwide, Bishop John Ayah, Fr RayMaria Umoh, Fr Godfrey Ukpabio of Uyo Diocese and all of you. God bless you.
